A wedding film should feel like the day itself.
Mshotsfilms is led by a wedding cinematographer, working with a small, trusted team. We're based in West Yorkshire, and we create cinematic wedding films for couples across Yorkshire and the United Kingdom — with wedding photography available alongside, if you'd like both.
Our approach is simple: we don't direct your wedding, we tell its story.

The day passes in hours.
The film stays.
Ask any married couple and they'll tell you the same thing: the day goes by in a blur. The excitement, the nerves, the people you love all in one place — it moves faster than you ever expect, and half of it happens while you're looking the other way.
That's why a wedding film matters. Photographs hold the moments still; a film gives you the movement, the voices, the laughter and the atmosphere back. It's the nearest thing to being there again — and one day, it may be the most treasured thing you own from the day.
That means filming the day as it unfolds — the atmosphere, the emotion and the genuine moments — and shaping it into a cinematic film that is personal to you, rather than a template applied to every couple. Every wedding we film is edited around the couple it belongs to: their people, their words, their day.
03 · OUR APPROACH
There's no script for your wedding day.
We believe the best films and photographs come from letting your day unfold naturally. We won't ask you to spend your wedding day performing for the camera. Instead, we'll be there to notice the moments that matter — the glances, the laughter, the happy tears and all the little things you might otherwise miss.
Calm, not intrusive
We're a calm presence on the day — organised before it, unobtrusive during it. Most of the time, you'll barely notice us working.
Genuine moments, gently guided
Real emotion can't be directed, so we don't try. When a little guidance helps — for portraits or group shots — we keep it light, quick and relaxed.
Sound as well as pictures
Vows, speeches and laughter carry as much emotion as anything you'll see. We record them properly, so your film sounds like your day, not just looks like it.
